One year after reaching the top of Oricon's album charts with their album My song Your song, Ikimonogakari returns with their fourth album, Hajimari no Uta. The band collaborated with a strong production team lineup including Tanaka Yusuke, Nishigawa Susumu, Shimada Masanori, Matsutoya Masataka, and Honma Akimitsu. Ikimonogakari's new 13-track album includes the hits Hotaru no Hikari, Futari, Nakumonka, Yell, and Joyful.
